Ran second at this grade here last week — comfortably his best run since arriving from the English circuit, where he was racing at a much lower level at Hove. He is sharp early and will try to make the running, but he tends to weaken in the closing stages, and the leap from Hove's A8 grade to Galway's A2 still asks questions on the balance of his form.

A course and distance regular with nine runs here, two wins, and a rating that peaked at 84 two starts back. She finished sixth last time but had run second and third just before, so the dip reads like one bad night rather than a trend. Solid each-way profile without obviously holding the pace of the faster rivals.

Ten course and distance runs make him one of the most experienced in the race, and he produced a career-best 89-rated run earlier in his campaign. Second at A4 grade last time was encouraging, but he was well beaten on his most recent try at this level and trap 4 has been a poor box at the grade, winning barely one race in nine.

The second-best speed figures in the field say the engine is real, but two runs tells you very little, and this is a sharp class test on a track he has never seen. Interesting and unexposed, with risk to match.
