Absolutely dominates this field on performance — P56 is a staggering 28 points ahead of the next-best runner. Form trajectory of 48→54→62→64→51 shows an upward arc with a slight dip last time, but even that 51 is nearly double the field average. She's a Closer (EP45, CS100) which normally concerns at 238m sprint, but the class override is emphatic here — this dog's bad days are still comfortably better than this field's good days. EP45 isn't zero either; she'll break with some pace and the T1 rail draw means she saves ground through the tight bend. At D5 where the field quality is low, her closing speed won't need to overcome much early pace from runners averaging P22-28. Trainer P Ward at 18% is modest but irrelevant when the dog has this much ability in hand.
DANGER: Whitton 34% + best suit (SM44) + T4 decent draw. The trainer knows this dog and these conditions. But P25 vs P56 is a chasm.
Limited career, worst trap draw, declining form. No realistic prospect against the class horse in T1.
Declining form (22→16→14 in last three) at a low base level. T3 sweet spot is the only structural positive but not enough.
Speed 61 catches the eye but the dead T5 draw, no pace data, and lowest perf in the field make this an avoid.
T6 draw and Fader EP would be interesting in a competitive race, but not against a P56 rival. Structural advantages can't bridge a 35-point perf gap.
T6 dominates D5 sprints at 23.53% from 816 runs. T3 is the overlooked sweet spot at 19.76%. Speed R1 wins 25.72% — the strongest signal in D5, confirming that the fastest dog has a significant edge at this grade. D B Whitton hits 31.58% (6/19) and M J Rice 34.29% (12/35) at this combo.
