Allowdale Yuno wins the pick by the narrowest of margins in what is a genuinely open A6 contest. He's an All-Rounder with balanced pace and decent bend ability who won at this grade two starts ago. The form either side is less inspiring — a sixth and a fifth in A5 — but the drop back to A6 is clearly his level. Trainer Miller's 22% win rate is the best in the race. In a grade where the top-ranked composite historically wins less than the third-ranked, this is about finding the most reliable dog rather than the best.
Best speed in the field with strong bend ability — the principal danger in a truly unpredictable grade.
Dominant draw and consistency but extreme Closer stepping up in class — each-way claims.
Track specialist but lacks raw speed to compete at the sharp end — place frame at best.
Will lead early but everything else is against him — no venue form, extreme Fader, and terrible consistency.
Inverted composite rank — R3 wins more than R1. A truly chaotic grade where any dog can win.
