Best speed in the field (54) with best bend rating (55) and joint-highest performance (59, effectively tied with Salvador's 60). She's an All-Rounder which gives her tactical flexibility to sit handy behind Barney's early burn from T5 and close on the run home. Trainer J J Fenwick at 28% is the best trainer in this field — moderate-tier signal that historically produces above-market returns. Her form has dipped recently: 72→50→62→56→47, and she's stepping up from A6 to A5 with a class suitability of just 23. But that 72 peak shows A5-winning ability when it clicks, and all her recent runs have been at Newcastle 480m so she knows this track and distance (track suit 34, distance suit 36). The speed advantage is meaningful on a galloping track — she doesn't need to close from last, she just needs to sit 2nd or 3rd and sustain.
DANGER: Strongest closer on a galloping track where closers regularly win. When he fires his 74-level form puts him clear. But EP 37 and volatile form mean he needs the race to go perfectly — and it won't always.
ELIMINATE. Lowest performance, worst trainer, second-worst trap draw, no standout attribute. She's filler.
Each-way banker. Best trap draw in the field, ultra-consistent, will be thereabouts. But her ceiling is a 58 effort which may not be enough to win against Lightfoot Lass or Salvador Aeriel when they fire.
Too inconsistent to trust. The 640m last run is a red flag for fitness at 480m. Needs to reproduce that 72 and there's no indication he will.
ELIMINATE as a winner. He'll lead through 300m then fade to 4th-6th. His closing speed of 10 is catastrophic over 480m. The only scenario where he wins is if every other dog falls over.
T3 is the best trap at 21.89% from 370 runs — strong sample size. T6 is worst at 15.63% from 256 runs. Speed rank shows S6 (slowest) wins 27.27% — suggesting speed alone does not decide this condition and closers/tactical runners regularly upset. R6 composite wins 21.88% showing upsets are very common at A5 grade.
