Course suitability of 51 and distance suitability of 43 are the strongest in the race, built on a genuine history of running competitively at Hove over 500 metres. The form before the break showed P54 at A5 and a P68 five runs back — both credible A5 performances at this track. Trainer Barry runs at 24%, the joint-strongest in the race. The honest caveat is 93 days off the track: that is a meaningful layoff and there is no trial form to bridge the absence. If she returns at 90% of her previous level, the structural and statistical advantages should carry her through. The selection is made with that caveat explicitly acknowledged.
