Harwell Blondie was impressive when winning at A6 level last time out, using her explosive early pace to lead all the way and record a smart time of 30.26 seconds. Her sectional through the first bend was outstanding and she pulled clear of her field with authority. She steps up to A5 tonight from a decent trap 3 draw, and her bend figure of 62 is the best in the field — significant at Nottingham where the tight first bend tends to decide races. The obvious concern is her extreme Fader profile: she has maximum early pace but absolutely no closing ability. Over 500 metres, that means she needs to build enough of a lead through the first two bends that she can afford to weaken through the closing stages without being caught. Trainer Andy Timbrell has placed her well after that A6 win.
Class dropper from A4 with a strong closing kick and the dominant rail draw — ideally positioned to benefit if the early pace collapses.
Won well last time but stepping up two grades from a modest base — may find this company too hot despite the fair draw.
Dropping in class but inconsistent form and an unreliable Fader profile make him hard to trust at any price.
Won at A6 and drawn in the best trap, but poor suitability figures suggest she hasn't capitalised on this position historically.
Best raw ability in the field but drawn in the dead trap — the class edge is genuine but the structural headwind from trap 6 is a serious concern.
Very low composite separation — rank 2 actually outperforms rank 1 historically (22.8% vs 19.8%). Speed rank 1 at 23.9% is the strongest signal. Traps 1 and 5 clearly dominant. Trap 6 is a dead draw at just 13.9% from 280 runs.
