Won well at A7 last time out, bumping through the first bend before leading from the third — a gutsy effort that suggests he's ready for the step back up to A6. All his racing has been around here over course and distance and that experience counts on a tight track like this. Previous efforts at A6 were less convincing — fourth on four occasions — but his form has been on an upward curve since February and a fast trial of 24.55 during the break confirms he's in good order. Drawn on the rail, which is the best box on the track, and he's the quickest in this field on the clock. A Closer who needs things to unfold in front of him, but from trap 1 he should get every chance to pick up the pieces through the closing bends.
Class drop from A5, improving form, sustainable pace — the clear danger to the pick.
No form to assess — speculative runner with everything to prove.
Track newcomer from worst trap with no early pace — too many questions to recommend.
Quickest on the clock and sharpest away but fading profile from worst draw is the concern.
T1 dominant from 262 runs. Composite R1 moderate at 20.6% — tight track middle grade means speed and draw are stronger signals than composite alone.
