Fabulous Kimiko is the classiest dog in this handicap by a clear margin. She won a handicap last week in impressive style and has been running consistently in A2 company before that, where she placed in both starts with performances in the seventies. She's a devastating closer whose finishing speed is the best in the race — she'll be last early but finishing fastest. The wide draw from trap 6 is structurally decent in handicaps at 19.8% and the staggered start helps her closing style as she can settle behind the pace. Her trainer knows how to place these dogs to win and the class drop is enormous.
Consistent handicapper with the best trap suitability — the main danger if the class acts falter.
Top-class front-runner with the best speed but poor individual trap history — the clear danger to the pick.
Far too inexperienced and limited to compete with this handicap field — one to watch in lower grades.
Declining sprinter trying the standard trip in a handicap against better dogs — hard to see him featuring.
Consistent closer in the worst draw — reliable for a place but unlikely to trouble the top two.
HANDICAP — trap bias de-weighted, speed/pace profile elevated. T4 and T5 are structurally dead but the stagger mitigates this. The class difference between the top two and the rest is the decisive factor in this race.
