Dog Selector

The dog selector is a powerful tool to help you whittle down the dogs running today according to the kind of dogs you like to back. Each filter allows you to filter the dogs down to different criteria.

In Experience & Thresholds you have a number of settings for the minimum number of runs overall, at the track, at the distance, etc. And you can also specify a minimum rating, or a minimum gap between the leader and the 2nd dog (this always brings you the leader, of course, in ratings).

You can add win percentages as a filter too. If you want a trap specialist, add in 33% to the Trap Win% model, and at least 10 trap runs.

We have a number of filters for the dog's physique. We don't want to back dogs that are overweight or that have put on weight since their last run — so we can exclude those that have patterns of this — and we can include fresh dogs who are 7-14 days out from last having run.

If you like to bet on certain grades or distances, you can do this — and you can also select different conditions such as Won LTO (Won Last Time Out).

You can then select your dogs and add them to your kennel, or if you want to track how this combination of filters works over time, you can go back up to the top and create a system with these filters — give it a name — and you'll be able to track it on the Systems page every day.

The fields are all sortable, and if you want to export to CSV to work on your own computer, you can do that too.
