Forgottotellya arrives with a massive reputation after a dominant 95 performance winning at Towcester over 500 metres in open company, where he led throughout at odds of 2/13. His speed rating of 113.2 in that race is outstanding. He also ran trials at Towcester and Sheffield. His trainer M A Wallis has an excellent 36% strike rate. Trap 5 is neutral at 18.18% which is neither help nor hindrance. The concern is that his competitive experience is limited to one race, and while that win was exceptional, the switch from Towcester to Sheffield is an unknown. His trial speed at Sheffield (109.4) was good though not as explosive as his Towcester best.
Course and distance winner twice over in strong graded company — should be in the mix from the rail.
Open race winner drawn in the dominant trap with proven early pace — the structural and form case is very strong.
Consistent Monmore winner but the weak trap draw at an unfamiliar venue limits his appeal.
All-trial form against proven open race performers — nothing suggests he can compete at this level.
Low-grade form from the deadest trap — faces an insurmountable structural and class disadvantage.
Trap 3 dominates OR1 at Sheffield 500m. Trap 6 has ZERO winners from 15 runs.
