Arrives with the best speed figures in the race and a balanced running style that should see him sit just behind the likely leader before striking in the closing stages. New to Hove which introduces an element of risk, but the raw clock times from recent outings stack up well against this modest opposition. Drawn in two which has a decent record in the grade, and the versatile pace profile means he can adapt to however the race develops. The model's pick on speed and the all-round profile is hard to argue with, even if the track debut is a slight concern.
Will lead and has the best draw - the danger if holding on.
Needs the pace to hold and a clear run - place claims at best.
Poor form at the bottom grade - hard to fancy.
Wrong draw and uninspiring form - others look much better suited.
Outclassed and poorly drawn - no chance on known form.
The inside draw is king at this level - the lower-grade dogs tend to run a straighter path and the rail advantage is magnified.
Trap one has been outstanding in A11 500m races at Hove with a win rate above thirty percent, comfortably the best in the grade. Trap three also performs well. Traps five and six have been notably poor with low win rates and heavy losses.
