Trainer Morris has a 24% strike rate which is one of the best on the card, and this looks like a deliberate placement. A fader by profile who can weaken late, but on a track where the pace tends to be honest and the long straight sorts out the finish, his quality edge may simply be too great for the closers to reel in. Has course and distance winning form and the kind of speed that could see him clear before the fade kicks in.
