Bisto Jayden ran a close second over this course and distance last time in the same grade and has clearly found his niche as a sprint specialist. He's the only confirmed front runner in the race, posting the best speed and bend figures by a comfortable margin. His early pace is sharp and he should look to get across from trap 2 and establish the lead before the bend. He won a trial here recently and his distance suitability at 58 is the best in the field, showing a genuine affinity for the sprint trip. His trainer has a decent record and the form figures are trending the right way. In a D4 sprint, his combination of speed and front-running style makes him the one to beat.
Steps back to his correct grade from a strong-performing trap — the danger to the pick.
Dead draw for a closer in a sprint — the structural headwind is severe.
Best draw in the race compensates for modest ability — the trap could carry her into a place.
Back-to-back winner stepping up in grade but the dead draw is a major obstacle.
The draw helps but the dog is outclassed — too weak to exploit the structural advantage.
Middle and outside traps dominate D4 sprints here — unusual for a front-runner track. Traps 1 and 5 are structurally dead. The predicted winner is in T2 which is neutral at 14.6% — not ideal but his front-running ability should compensate.
