The performance before that was another Open Race at Doncaster, finishing within a head of the winner despite being crowded into the first and second bends. She was a decent A5 performer at Sheffield before stepping up, running 29.62 when third with a closing effort two starts prior. A confirmed Closer who relies on a strong finishing kick, but at Sheffield over 500 metres that style is far less of a handicap than at 480. Drawn in trap 1 — the best box at A5 over this trip, winning nearly one in four — which should save her ground through the bends and give her every chance of picking them off late. The speed rating of 59 is the best in the field by seven points, her best time of 29.76 is the fastest here, and her average performance of 70 is a different league to an A5 field averaging in the low 50s. Simply too good for these.
