She returned from a break to win at A5 Monmore last time out, and tonight's step to A4 still represents a class level below her recent ceiling. She's essentially running down the ladder.
Bred from Good News x Moments of Magic, she carries pedigree to suggest there's more in the tank as she sharpens up from her recent lightly-raced campaign. Trap 4 at Monmore is a functional draw at 15.7% historically — nothing dramatic, but nothing to worry about either.
The opposition simply has no answer to her on the numbers. Champys Girl in trap 2 scores 28. Aero Daisy (trap 3) is at 49, Aero Immoral (trap 5) at 51. Darley Panther offers the most credible threat at 60, but that's still 31 points behind Doc Susie. Gaps this wide at A4 level are unusual, and races with this kind of composite separation have a strong historical tendency to fall the right way.
The only caveat is fitness from her recent lightly-raced spell. The form when fresh has been good, though, and the class drop from where she's been operating makes tonight look like a prime opportunity.
