The black bitch, born July 2024 and trained by B D O'Sullivan, has made Central Park her personal playground. From nine career starts — all at the Sittingbourne venue over 491 metres — she's won six and placed in eight. That's a 67% win rate and 89% place rate at a track where most dogs would be happy with one in four.
What makes her RTD Rating of 116.6 particularly impressive is the grade progression. She started in A4, won, moved to A2, won again, stepped into A1 company where she still placed, and has now strung together three consecutive OR wins — the highest grade in the sport. Her most recent run on May 30th saw her break smartly from trap 5, lead throughout wide, and clock 29.19 seconds as the 6/4 favourite.
The rating model rewards exactly this kind of profile: raw speed (her times are consistently among the fastest at Central Park), a rising grade trajectory, and the consistency of doing it week after week. She's currently at her peak rating — 116.6 is as high as she's ever been — and with no sign of slowing down, there's every chance she goes higher.
At just under two years old, Harlequin Lizzie is right in the sweet spot of her career. Whether she stays at Central Park or ventures elsewhere for bigger prizes, she's the dog to beat in Britain right now.
