The form watch scans for dogs whose composite score has jumped significantly between their recent runs. A big jump doesn't always mean a dog has suddenly become elite, but it does mean something has changed, and understanding what can give you an edge before the market catches up.
Vialli tops the list with the biggest leap of the lot: from a composite of 16 to 59, a gain of 43 points. That kind of jump usually signals a dog finding the right conditions after struggling previously. He runs tonight at Nottingham in the 20:54 OR3 over 305m from trap 1, trained by S G Tighe (who, as noted elsewhere, is operating at a 31% win rate). The sprint distance could be the key. If Vialli's previous low scores came over longer trips, the switch to 305m might explain everything.
Orbsen Daisy has climbed from 10 to 51, a 41-point improvement. She runs at Monmore in the 16:34 A8 over 480m from trap 2. Moving from single digits to above 50 suggests a dog who may have been returning from a break or finding her feet at a new venue.
Bonville Secret (14 to 48, up 34) lines up at Harlow in the 18:11 OR over 415m from trap 3. Moulton Mickey (25 to 58, up 33) goes at Dunstall Park in the 11:52 A2 over 480m from trap 5, which is a proper test of whether the improvement is genuine given the grade.
Keefill Zeus rounds out the five, jumping from 11 to 37 (up 26). He runs at Harlow in the 19:24 OR2 sprint over 238m from trap 4. His score is still modest, but the trajectory is moving the right direction.
All five are worth adding to your kennel tracker. One good run is a hint. Two consecutive improvements is a pattern worth following.
