Composite scores move race by race as new data arrives, and occasionally a dog shifts dramatically when recent performances change their average. Five dogs have posted notable upward movements in the last 24 hours, and all five are worth adding to your kennel watchlist.
The biggest mover is Skyfall Dingo, who jumped 50 points from a score of 4 to 54. He runs today at Sheffield in an IV grade over 280m (16:41, trap 3). A shift of that size usually means either very limited prior form now being supplemented by solid recent runs, or a performance significantly better than what came before. Either way, he is no longer a statistical unknown.
Ballymac Loca has climbed 33 points (41 to 74) and lines up today in an A3 at Towcester over 500m at 15:13 from trap 1. A score of 74 in A3 grade is meaningful -- that is a dog moving toward the stronger end of the mid-grade field. With the rail draw at Towcester (a track where trap positions are fairly evenly balanced), there is no obvious structural disadvantage to negotiate.
Bonnet Lily is up 22 points to 26 (Sheffield, IV, 500m, 17:56, trap 3), Saratoga up 21 to 51 (Valley, A6, 460m, 12:38, trap 3), and Bluejig Aoife up 20 to 51 (Valley, A3, 460m, 12:04, trap 2). Saratoga and Bluejig Aoife both run at Valley this afternoon if you want to see them at first hand. All five can be found and tracked through the [Dog Selector](/dog-selector).
