Grouchos Cossie tops the list with the biggest jump: from a composite of 23 up to 59, a gain of 36 points. She lines up in the 17:18 Grade IV at Sheffield over 500 metres from trap 1. That kind of leap typically signals a dog who has recently put in a significantly better performance than their previous runs suggested, whether through a change of distance, grade, or simply clicking into form. A composite of 59 puts her firmly in contention at IV level, and trap 1 adds a little structural advantage on the Sheffield circuit.
Bockos Frankel has made a 33-point jump from 14 to 47 and runs in the 17:56 OR3 at Sheffield over 480 metres from trap 5. Moving from 14 to 47 takes a dog from bottom-of-the-card territory into genuine contender status, and OR3 is a level where a composite in the high 40s can absolutely get involved.
Down at Sunderland, Hes From Blyth (up 30 points from 11 to 41) runs in the 14:14 A5 over 450 metres from trap 1. At A5 level, a 41 composite is competitive, and the inside draw is a plus.
Two others worth flagging: Saratoga (3 to 30, up 27) runs at Valley in a D4 sprint, and Burrows Dilemma (15 to 35, up 20) goes at Hove in an A4 from trap 1. All five are worth adding to your kennel tracker if you like following dogs whose trajectory is pointing upward.
