That's the kind of separation that doesn't come along in every race.
What makes the case stronger is the context behind those numbers. Jays Pippin steps down from a 450m contest last time out, and her stamina profile points clearly toward the shorter trips suiting her better than the longer ones. Moving back to the minimum distance at Doncaster looks less like a gamble and more like a dog returning to her best conditions. She has no course and distance form here to lean on, which is a mark against her on paper, but the raw pace advantage is difficult to see past.
The one dog capable of turning this over is Mossend Chip in trap 5, who gets the best-performing box in this grade at Doncaster (29% from 62 runs, comfortably the strongest draw of the six) and is the second-fastest in the field. She's a confirmed closer, though, and needs the pace up front to fold rather than hold — her most recent run over the longer 450m trip was below her usual level, so there's a question mark over her form right now.
