Crayford

Crayford Greyhound Stadium in Kent was one of the most popular and well-known greyhound racing venues in the South East of England. Located in the London Borough of Bexley, it was easily accessible from central London and drew large crowds for its regular evening and afternoon meetings. The stadium operated for many decades as a staple of the UK racing circuit.

Crayford closed its doors in January 2025, ending a long era of greyhound racing at the venue. The closure was part of broader pressures on urban greyhound stadiums from property development, and the loss of Crayford removed an important South East fixture from the racing calendar.
